PS Computer Systems Ltd Service Arrangements


Support arrangements are designed to give a defined level of support and will give priority response when required.

Server: 99.95 + VAT per server per month

Windows NT server, Windows Small Business Server, NT Workstation as server.
Includes one monthly visit to check server health.
Telephone support (6 calls) and on-site same day response (Fort William area)
On site time charged at 40 per hour, or choose option from below.
Note that server repair and data recovery can not be guaranteed, a disaster plan and acceptable down-time must be defined and agreed.
Please note normal hours are 09:00 to 17:00 Mon to Fri excluding public holidays.
Options are available for cover outside these times if required.

Workstation: 19.95 + VAT per workstation per month

Windows NT Workstation, Windows 98, Windows 95, Windows 3.11
Telephone support (2 calls per workstation) and on-site same day response (Fort William area)
On site time charged at 40 per hour, or choose option from below.
Note that workstation repair and data recovery can not be guaranteed, a disaster plan and acceptable down-time must be defined and agreed.

Gold Plus: 875.00 + VAT (All time expires after 1 year)

20 Hours of RTB* and Onsite Hardware & Software Support (Workstations)
Consumables to the value of 250.00 + VAT at cost
Telephone Helpdesk to be deducted from time
Option to convert time to training from beginners through advance level
Server support charged at 1.5 hours per hour used. (If server option not included)

Gold: 525.00 + VAT (All time expires after 1 year)

10 Hours of RTB* and Onsite Hardware & Software Support (Workstations)
Consumables to the value of 250.00 + VAT at cost
Telephone Helpdesk to be deducted from time
Option to convert time to training beginning to advance level
Server support charged at 1.5 hours per hour used. (If server option not included)

Silver Plus: 280.00 + VAT (All time expires after 1 year)

8 Hours of RTB* and Onsite Hardware & Software Support (Workstations)
Telephone Helpdesk to be deducted from time
Option to convert time to training beginning to advance level
Server support charged at 1.5 hours per hour used. (If server option not included)

Silver: 140.00 + VAT (All time expires after 1 year)

4 Hours of RTB* and Onsite Hardware & Software Support (Workstations)
Telephone Helpdesk to be deducted from time
Option to convert time to training beginning to intermediate level
Server support charged at 1.5 hours per hour used. (If server option not included)

  • * RTB – Return to Base
  • All arrangements come with next working day or within 72-hour working day response. Same day with server or workstation option.
  • If panic call is required when Server or Workstation option is not included this can be requested on a standard subscription and will be charged at 2 hours per hour used. A one hour server same day/urgent response therefore would use 3 hours of support time. Same working day response is guaranteed only if the fault is reported before 12 noon with this option. After this time, a within 24 Hour working day call out will be applied from the time of the call being logged.
  • Panic Call Out – within 2-Hour response in a working day is available. It is subject to a 100% surcharge of the arrangement price, paid for at time of purchase.
  • Weekend call out response time available. Please contact us for details.
  • Although every effort will be made to find a solution to your problem within the time allotted, we can not guarantee a fix, or solution, to those problems within the call out time and duration of your arrangement time.
  • All of the above arrangements are valid for one year from date of purchase, or until all time has been used.
  • The support arrangement will be valid only after full payment has been received.
  • The workweek is Monday to Friday 9am to 5:30pm excluding public holidays.
  • The option to convert to training is only valid within the duration of the arrangement. No training will be given outside of this time period even if you have time remaining.
  • When the training option is exercised, travel time to and from location will be deducted from the arrangement. This time to be deducted at a ratio of 2:1 i.e. Round trip travel time 1 hour, then .5 hours will be deducted from support arrangement leaving remainder time for training.
